Amaya Brecher (from Oakland, California) was a cast member on "The Real World: Hawaii." She was 21 years old at the time of her appearance on the show.
Biography[]
Amaya is a woman who attends UCLA. She became attracted to Colin, with whom she had an on-off relationship.
She revealed that in the past she had an eating disorder and issues with her body, but insisted that this was no longer the case.
Near the end of the season, the bulk of Amaya's roommates began to turn on her, citing her insecure nature and speaking ill of them outside of their presence.

Now that she has graduated from UCLA, she is struggling over revealing her true self to the world. Her closest friends know her as a sassy and sarcastic girl who enjoys having fun and then going into hiding.
A native of Oakland, California, Amaya is both smart and beautiful, but like many young women, she suffered from a poor body image and struggled with bulimia in her early college years.
